Tongue & Groove – One of the bigger clubs in Atlanta hosts a Latin night on Wednesdays. There are free Salsa and Bachata classes followed by a mix of Salsa, Bachata, Merengue and Reggaton music. $10 cover. http://www.tandgonline.com/

Thursday
PasoFino weekly social – This is a social at a dance studio. The studio has classes 7pm – 9pm, and then holds a social from 9pm – around midnight. This is an early social, so it is recommended to get there at 9pm. Cover $5 (free if you take the classes). www.pasofinodance.com

Ecplise Di Luna – This is a Spanish tapas restaurant with a killer mojito, with a live band playing Salsa, Cha Cha and sometimes Bachata and Merengue in a trendy location just outside the Perimeter. The crowd is a mix of local dancers out for a drink and restaurant customers. It is recommended to make reservations if you plan to get a table for dinner. No cover. Friday
Sanctuary – This is one of the longest running Salsa spots in Atlanta. They do have special non-salsa events once in a while, so call ahead to make sure they are having a Latin night. The crowd is a mix of regulars and some newer dancers in a semi club/dance social environment. Non-smoking venue. There are free Salsa classes at around 9:15pm. Havana Club – This is a large club with 4 different rooms, with one room dedicated to Latin. The mix is heavy on the club side with a lot of Reggaeton, with some Salsa, Bachata and Merengue. Cover $10 – $20. http://www.havanaclubatl.com/

Saturday
Tropical Elegance Social – This social caters to the Gwinnett county and surrounding areas. Large dance floor in a restaurant (Nemoes Tavern & Grill) with the DJ playing Salsa, Bachata, Merengue and some Cha Cha. Some weekends have shows and special guests from out of town. Havana Club – This is a large club with 4 different rooms, with one room dedicated to Latin. The mix is heavy on the club side with a lot of Reggaeton, with some Salsa, Bachata and Merengue. Cover $10 – $20. http://www.havanaclubatl.com/

Sunday
Coco Cabana – This is a local favorite. Mambo Mario and friends organize this free social on Sundays at this large Cuban restaurant with a big dance floor. The food is great and the drinks are reasonably priced. This is an early social and ends around 10 pm. No cover. http://cococabanarestaurant.com/

Week 1

Second Saturdays: Tumbao Social – This social is hosted by DJ Mike and is a region favorite. Dancers from surrounding states and cities drive down for this social. Cover $10 Facebook Page
